Psychotherapy / Performance Coaching / Executive Consulting
About
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor with expertise in the fields of psychotherapy, performance coaching, and executive leadership development.
I was introduced to the disciplines of meditation and martial arts at age four, and went on to become a division one athlete and senior instructor for the University of Vermont’s taekwondo team. After thirty years of being humbled at the hands of jiu-jitsu, judo, taekwondo, and yoga, I've developed a growth mindset rooted in patience, perseverance, and personal responsibility.
My journey into the depths of leadership psychology began in 2007, when I became a wilderness first responder and guide at True North Wilderness Program. In this role, I spent over 300 nights in the field teaching survival and leadership skills.
Inspired by my wilderness experience, I entered graduate school in 2010, where I completed clinical internships at the University of Vermont’s Counseling and Psychiatry Services Center, as well as at Central Vermont Hospital’s Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. I graduated at the top of my class in 2013, and returned to True North Wilderness Program as a staff psychotherapist and course leader from 2013-2015.
In 2015, I launched my outpatient therapy and executive consulting practice, and was simultaneously the admissions director at the Vermont Center for Integrative Therapy from 2015-2018, and the clinical director of Confluence Behavioral Health from 2018-2020.
As a therapist, I work with professional and collegiate athletes, active military operators, veterans, and the general public. I engage in a collaborative process with clients as they heal emotional wounds, improve relationships, and overcome perceived personal limitations.
As a consultant, I find solutions to problems. A large part of my work is honing the leadership skills of executives in order to strengthen team performance and enhance organizational outcomes. I’ve supported some of the most successful executive teams in America, as they scale some of the most prosperous corporations in the world.
Whether you're struggling with someone, something, or just yourself internally, give me a call. We'll find a path forward together.
